Why Should I Create an Account?

Creating an account on mysugarcreek.net helps to keep our church records up to date and gives you access to advanced features of our site, such as:

  • Online Contributions
    • Give to the church by electronic transfer from your bank or by credit card
    • Set up automatically recurring payments
    • View your contribution history online
  • Online Registration
    • Register for events
    • Register for childcare
    • Pay for many events online (if payment is required)
  • Small Group Management for volunteer leaders
  • Auto-filling online forms, such as our "Contact Us" form, with your information.

How Do I Create an Account?

To create an account, select "Login" from the drop down menu in the "My Account" section at the lower-left corner of every page. This will launch the account manager window, where you can click on the "Create Account" button. Follow the onscreen instructions to enter your information. Asterisks indicate required fields.

Once your account is created, you can access most of the features on our site from the "My Account" drop down menu. Some features (such as viewing contribution history and small group management) require us to connect your online account with your church record. This process ensures the security of your information and may take 1-2 business days to complete. You will receive an email notification when we have linked your online account with your church record.

How Do I Use My Account?

Once your account is created, you can use it to access available online features.

Online Contributions
Select "Contributions Manager" from the drop down menu. The contributions window opens and walks you through the process of making a one-time donation, or setting up a recurring donation. Your contribution history is also visible for the current year and for some previous years. For detailed information about online contributions, see the Giving section of our site.

Online Registration
Select "Events/Childcare" under "Registrations" from the drop down menu. This takes you to a page listing all future events offering online registration or childcare registration. Click the appropriate link next to each event to launch the registration window which walks you through the process of registering and paying for the event (if required). You can also access registration for available events from the event page found on our church calendar or under a ministry section. Look for the registration icons. Detailed registration help is available on all registration-enabled pages.

Small Group Management
If you are a volunteer leader in a church small group, such as a Bible Fellowship class, select the activity in which you are a leader underneath the "Small Group Manager" heading on the drop down menu. If you are recorded in our church system as a leader of a group or groups, the small group manager window will launch with your group's information listed. For more information, or if the system does not recognize you as a volunteer leader, contact the office of the ministry area in which you serve.

Auto-filling Online Forms
Login to your account and then select "Contact Us" from the drop down menu or click on the "Contact Us" link at the top-right of any webpage. Your account information automatically fills the fields of the contact form for your convenience.

Please note that our online account system utilizes pop-up windows. If you are having difficulty accessing the account modules, it may be that your browser is configured to block pop-up windows. You will need to set your browser to always allow pop-ups from www.mysugarcreek.net. Generally, if pop-ups are being blocked, you will see a small information bar just below the area where you type in the web address. Click that information bar and you should be given options to allow pop-ups from our site.
